IPPC Clothesline Project
Reported by firstname.lastname@example.org on 11/17/22
The Indian Prairie Parents’ Council is helping to raise awareness of interpersonal violence, including sexual and relationship abuse, by hosting a drive to support the Clothesline Project. The project is a visual display of the statistics that often go ignored. T-shirts are made by survivors or someone who has lost a loved one to violence. Established in the spring of 2016 at Waubonsie Valley High School, the Clothesline Project was an extension of the Rape Aggression Defense class offered to high school students who identify as female in junior/senior physical education classes. With your support, we are honored to bring this program to all three District 204 high schools this year.
To donate to the program, please click on the Amazon Wishlist to purchase supplies for the program by December 1. Your purchase will honor a survivor’s strength with an act of healing and provide another avenue for them to courageously break the silence that often surrounds their experience.
If you have questions about the Clothesline Project or would like to partner with Indian Prairie School District for future events, please contact Jeannie Dina at email@example.com.
