Public health advisory recommendations have been issued for adults, parents, and youth from The Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery due to the outbreak of severe pulmonary disease linked with vaping. Included are FDA recommendations, signs of vaping, and how to keep talking with your teen about vaping risks. Get these important e-cigarette/vaping updates in The Parent Post, high school edition. Power of Choice will provide important updates throughout the year on youth substance use prevention.

The Power of Choice is a collaborative project led by 360 Youth Services in District 203 and 204 middle and high schools growing the number of students making healthy choices regarding substance use that is funded in whole or in part by the Illinois Department of Health Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery through a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
